Tri left and came back twenty minutes later, with a huge grin on her face and a large brown owl on her arm.

Elanor waved. Feather stalked the owl on Tri's arm.

"Oh, I see you've made a new friend," said Tri to her owl jovially. She lowered her arm so that it could get closer to Feather.

Feather prowled closer, sticking her muzzle out to sniff the bird.

Tri placed the owl on the ground then walked over to Elanor.

Artemis quickly rose and hissed something in his sister's ear. She nodded and ran up to the castle, Feather following swiftly. "My Apologies. Elanor has something urgent to deal with." He spoke quietly.

"Hmm, from the urgency with which she left to deal with it, is it safe to assume you won't tell me what it is?" Said Tri, scooping up her owl.

"Affirmative. It is her business and therefore not my business to tell you what it is." Artemis replied cryptically, in true Ravenclaw style.

Artemis smirked and held out his arm for his owl, from which he received a note, then sent back a reply

"Who's the note from?" Asked Tri, raising an eyebrow.

"Elanor. She'll be down in a minute." As Artemis spoke, his sister started to walk down to join them, Feather at her heels.

Upon seeing Feather, the barn owl struggled to escape Tri's grasp and flew away.

Artemis smirked. "Flighty, isn't it?" Elanor finally reached them and hugged her brother.

"How do you know it's not a female?" Artemis spoke in retaliation. "Arty, please..." Elanor laid a hand on her brother's arm. "Don't call me that!" He glared at her.

Tri smiled, "Well, it's quite simple actually; you can tell from the overall color of the back along with that of his throat," she said matter-of-factly.

Artemis raised an eyebrow and, ignoring his sister, raised his wand and sent a colour-changing spell towards the owl, which would make it turn yellow with lime highlights.

Artemis was about to say something but Elanor punched his arm. "Stop it." she hissed.
