"Well, that's how you get into the kitchen." She tickled the pear. It giggled and turned into a door handle, which Lily turned. A doorway opened, and she turned to Brandon and raised her eyebrows. "You coming?"

"Yeah..." Lily looked thoughtful. "I'm the headmistress's niece, and I stayed here for pretty much the whole summer... what's your excuse?"

"I have no where else to go during the summer so they let me stay he around the end of summer."

"Ah..." Lily nodded. She bit into a slice of bread. "Okay. I think there were a couple other students like that... if I remember correctly, one of them was from Canada..."
