Tri stepped over to pet the unicorn, not noticing Xavier.

Elanor raised her eyebrows at Xavier, but said nothing. She stroked the muzzle of the unicorn, her other hand winding in its mane.

Lily narrowed her eyes at Xavier's back as though she had just realized something, but shook it off from where she was in the tree.

Elanor beckoned to Lily, inviting her to come and stroke the unicorn

I reach out a hand and brush the unicorn's fur. The unicorn seems startles and nervous, but only for a moment. I remain in it's blind spot, and seeing only the two girls, it settles back into a calm state.

I smile and pocket the unicorn hair, wondering what I could do with such a magical item. It was almost a shame the unicorn hadn't noticed very much and run off. That would've shown these annoying little brats. But now I had what I came for. I slunk off and leaned against a tree, wondering if the unicorn would notice if its horn went missing...

Elanor quickly soothed the beast, and crept after Xavier.

Lily narrowed her eyes even further, wondering why Xavier would need unicorn hair…

After a moment's forethought, she jumped into a tree nearer to both Xavier and Elanor.

"I told you guys it was a good idea to find a unicorn!" whispered Tri, feeling it's horn with one finger.

Tri looked up at Lily, then at Elanor, then asked, ” why am I the only one not acting all furtive?”

Elanor threw an acorn at Xavier, keeping out of sight

Lily turned and nearly fell off the branch in surprise, but managed to keep her footing. "Getting back to school through these trees. When did you get here?" She asked Adam.
